Dash Kits

Since the search feature is unavailable and I am new to this site, I thought I would post the following questions:

Has anyone here purchased a dash kit? Was it all that you expected?

I have a black 2000 SE and I really find the fake "wood" to be very tacky (it's the only thing I don't like about my car!). I was thinking of going with aluminum, but wanted to check with people here before I spend the money.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Fake wood? DO you have a GLE or an SE? The new molded dash kits that are out there look very good and not fake. They also are curved around the edges instead of flat. Check out Joshua Tree. They are a solid company with great customer service. You can get on a live chat within their site to talk to customer service and ask questions.
