Preventive Maintance for Paint Chipping?

Is there anything I can do to the 03 Maxima before the chipping begins, maybe a clear-coat?

Regards,

Telco

Install a clear bra. Check out www.xpel.com for more details.

Encase your '03 in a 12 inch thick plexiglass case. Though it will still be vulnerable to spitted grape pits!

I ordered the standard kit from here for $67: http://www.invinca-shield.com/asp/genkit.asp?kit=3242

So far, I've installed the the end caps. Not that horrible to do. The one thing I regret doing is trying to expel an air bubble by usign a needle, and scratched the paint. For the hood, you probably need a friend, just to make it easier and double check the straightness.

You wash and wax the bra just like it was a part of the car. The directions even specify you can wax it.

Man, that is a great price. I think xpel wants like $110 for the same thing. Well, almost, they give you the hood and side mirror pieces.
