whats up guys i was wondering if any of you have had problems with your fog light lenses cracking both of mine are cracked.

my second question is do any of you have the hks sport exhaust dual tip on your cars i think this is what i want to go with but would like your opinions

 

1. Yes, a lot of people have had cracks in foglights. I remember reading quite a few threads about this issue. Not sure what exactly the problem was, but I think it's the fragile lens. Contact Dave Burnette (DAVEB) for replacement fogs.

2. Sorry, can't help you here.

 

My foglight cracked because I put aftermarket lights in it that got way too hot. As soon as the cold weather came, the glass cracked. Also, rocks will make it chip to, but that wasn't the case for mine.

 

one of my fog light lens' is cracked. Only 10,000 miles..I had the same thing happen to my 1998 Maxima.

WOW I must be lucky. I have a 2k with 90k and i have had piaa in my fogs since 10k, and i live in CO were they use gravel during the winter. My fogs havent craked yet. Tommorow they will brobably crack, but what are u going to do.

 

I live in CO too, the snow is crazy out here I can't go anywhere in the max. Anyways, i believe your fogs haven't cracked because they are plasic lenses rather than the glass ones on the 2k2 and 2k3. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

 

Yea pimpjuice this storm is crazy my max wouldn't beable to go any ware, glad I got my winter car. My max is burried i can't even see my babie. Are they plastic?, that could be a good reason why they are not cracked.

 

1. No cracks in my foglights.

2. I have the HKS rear section and it looks great and sounds better. BTW, don't look for any HP gains, it is strictly an appearance booster.

rich do you have any pics? yeah i'm not really looking for any huge gains i just need something that looks good and makes some noise these cars are way too quiet stock. i also have the JWT pop charger on the way so that should sound nice as well

 

When I had the 3M clear bra put on my Max, he also did the headlights and foglights. No cracks ...

 

doesnt plastic crack too?
