O2 Sensors Are Covered under 3 YEAR 50,0000
Listen up 00-03 Maxima Owners! Those Nissan Dealers have been improperly charging you for those O2 Sensors. I just spoke with someone at Nissan Motor Corp 1-800-647-7261, they told me that O2 Sensors are now part of the emissions warraty!?! 3 Years or 50,000K Miles!I told the rep that several dealers told me that they are only covered under the 3 YR/36,000K. The rep asked for the dealerships names and was willing to call them for me.
I highly recommend calling Nissan at 800-647-7261 if you have any problems getting those O2 sensors fixed. Take your Maxima to Autozone and get a free SES light check. If it's the O2 sensor make sure he doesn't reset the code, and take it to the dealer to get fixed if your within 3 YR/50,000K.
