If any of you would like to do your own window VIN Etching for about $20.00 to $30.00 for an etching kit, try these two web sites. I just ordered one for $24.90 delivered to my door.
http://www.autoetch.net
http://www.vinetch.com
There are probably many more sites for purchasing this.

Sometimes your local police dept will sponsor it for free or almost nothing, that's where I got it done.

Can someone explain that to me??? n/m

I know the Max comes with it, but how does the whole thing works? Couldn't the crook just bust out the windows or something?

Do you know how difficult it would be for the crooks to purchase 8 new windows specially designed for the maxima? Car thieves are all about quickness. That'd take way too long. Could be done though. After the crooks have been caught.

You can call the local Police dept and ask if they will do this because they usually sponsor this event in my neighborhood like once or twice a year and it is free.

If you mean Courtesy, it's from Courtesy Nissan.
