Pic request

Since I can't search I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some pics of 19" rims on a 2K2-2K3 Maxima, with no suspension mods (stock suspension).

Also how are some people doing all of these mods like lowering your brand new maxima since it voids the warranty????

Lowering does not void the warranty, maybe any complaints on your suspension will be ignored, but it wioll not void a warranty

The only thing lowering will void is the shocks and struts. I lowered mine and I like the look and the way it handles now. If you are thinking about 19s I think a drop will look real clean. Just enough to get rid of the gap.

So I can get a set of springs, but not shocks? Would it be ok to ask my dealer if the springs would be ok, just to be 100% sure, because I definitly don't want to void the warranty!
Do tein s-tech give a good "EVEN" drop? what else gets decently low and even? I am afraid if I get 19's I will be ridding high!

You don't have to ask the dealer s#it!! Is he making your payments? Go ahead and lower it, but if you keep the stock struts, you'll be doing it again, cause it will bottom out. Again springs will only void your spring/strut warranty claims, not the whole vehicle warranty.

I agree, you should just do it. If you just do the springs now, you will want to get shocks later. There is no way that a dealership will aprove any aftermarket spring and keep you're warranty on the shocks/struts. A different spring rate and ride height causes the shocks and struts to wear out a liitle more quikly. Also the whole bottoming out thing, I had B&G springs and stock struts and never bottomed out.

Check my homepage for 19" rims. Take 2 inches off my drop in the pics and thats what stock would look like. . Without a drop you could go off road in your max, or at least it would look like you could.
