ECU question

I've been reading about the hesitation in acceleration in 02-03 Maxes. I personally don't find any noticeable hesitation with my '03 SE 6sp manual and I don't think everyone out there does either. If all of the ECUs in our cars are programmed the same(and I would think they would be) wouldn't all of us experience this hesitation? I bought my car at the end of January of this year but my car sat on the lot since about May/June of last year so I'm pretty sure it wasn't upgraded by then from the factory unless the dealer took upon themselves to upgrade the cars on their lot before they were purchased(which I HIGHLY doubt). What gives?

The TSB specifically references particular ECM part numbers and ID codes. You may not have one of the affected vehicles. The hesitation is also easier to notice in hot weather, so wait until summer and see if you feel it then.
