Will new tires on stock rims...
...make a difference in DRY handeling? This weekend I was noticing my crappy potenzas screeching around hard corners. I'm wondering if I get better tires in the same size as the OEMs if it will impact my dry weather performance?
If so, by a lot? Or do I just need new wider rims with wider tires?
Thanks.

Better tires will ALWAYS make a difference, regardless of whether you get wider wheels or not.
