Suspension

I need some serious help trying to figure out whats wrong with my suspension,bc these ppl at the body shop cant figure it out. In the front some where if I pull in to a gas station or something with a dip and I lead with my left tire it makes a quick knocking sound. Then when im on the highway theres like a whining in the rear. You know the noise that a boomerang makes when it is thrown and cutting thru the air. I dont think that it is the bearings bc it hasnt got any worse in the few months that it has been like this. But it gets louder when I turn, and It used to be real loud for a few days a while back but then it just quieted down but was still there. Any suggestions I can throw at the mechanic.
