my dad took the max thats in my sig and traded it in sunday for 2k3 gle silver. no spoiler i didnt like that. but overall its bueatiful. i will take new pic out when my girl comes with her camera later this week.

I don't think English is this guy's first language. If it is, I feel really sorry for him.....but I honestly don't think it is.

I said the touring lip looks like fish gills. It does. I never said it was ugly (although I certainly wouldn't put it on my car).

I don't think your old car was all that bad to be honest. It is actually much cleaner than most of the cars on this board. If the only thing that I would have done differently to it is change the front lip and taillights, then I think we have very similar taste.

Anyhow, no sense in arguing over stupid stuff. Congrats on the new car my man! Sorry for reviving this thread unnecessarily

I personally am not a fan of the fish gills, but other than that the car looks pretty good, i like the color too. but no matter what there will always be people that dont agree with what you do, especially on a car enthusiast forum board. so suck it up, and dont b*tch, do what you like, maybe then you can gain a few years on maturirty and not be so WACK anymore.

Truthfully, the only thing I don't like about that car is the front lip. The rest of it looks great. I'm not a big fan of aftermarket lenses and stuff, but the car looks nice. (Besides the front lip). Just don't put it on the new one.

 

Here is my take on the whole thing. Granted I'm new to this because I have only had my Maxima for 4 months. Bottom line, does that make it faster? No. None of the exterior mods make your car faster. I would rather spend my money on things that increase the performance. I plan to do a few things to the outside but I don't want mine to look like a Fast and the Furious car. I see people spend so much money one making their car "LOOK" fast. I would rather my car look plain on the outside and actually "BE" fast. Because now people in little tuned up civics pull up next to me thinking they will beat me "if the car looks stock it must be slow". I would rather suprise people like I often do.

 

First I'd like to say im very sad at some of the members on this board not all, ie. (the ones who replied to this thread) what one person thinks is cool another might not, but just because I got rid of the car doesnt mean you had to talk trash about it and say hope you do well on the next one (thats just plain wrong or being a HATER) as far as me being a kid, far from it buddies, im 26 yrs of age worked hard for everything I own, including that max that I helped my dad with, rich brat I dont think so. Alot of members on this board are into themselves and they might have a few followers that boost thier egos, which is fine but dont think you're high and mighty now because you have some heads that share your views. As for my 2K being ugly so you say, I've gotten numerous PMs about the custom taillights matching the color of the car and Touring Aero-Kit. Wonder how many of you got same type of PMs. One more thing I'd like to add, I notice alot of people on the .org are english teachers all of a sudden when being attacked... wonder why that is, you have no real points or views or maybe no comebacks so lets pick at his grammar.
