Pothole

Just a little heads up. Last night I hit a freakin crater on my way home. I mean I really hit it hard. I wasn't even going fast but it was so big and I didn't see it until it was too late.

So I do a quick check on my stock rim. Looked good, no dent. The tire was intact too. No sidewall bubble or anything. I'm feeling good.

This morning I notice the car doesn't feel quite right. So I decide to pull off the rim. Turns out it is dinged pretty good from the inside. Looks like I'm gonna need a new Titanium edition rim.

Just wanted to let you guys know that if you hit a pothole or run over something, always check the whole rim and tire.....outside & inside.

I just hope that nothing else is wrong. I'll check the alignment after I replace the rim.

Take this up with your city. Many times you can get them to pay for it since it is the city's job to make the roads safe for cars, hence the necessity for police officers and whatnot. A friend of mine dented his brand new 22 on a pothole on the way home from a party, and he had an engineer check it out, and the city paid him to get the rim fixed. You shouldn't have to avoid pot holes like that...
