If I remember correctly, you have the Y and B pipes. If so, is this dyno with them on?

I think the numbers suck and thats the wonderful design of the 02 intake manifold. Lovely huh

i'll have to agree that i'm none too impressed especially with allt he work you did to make sure the car was running at "peak power" with regards to the mods you put on. very disappointing.
that mani's gotta go. perhaps with that fixed, we'll get the full potential of our exhaust/intake system.

Blue, that is actually pretty good for a auto. With B-Pipe and Ypipe is what I think you have that is about a 20hp gain. To what I heard the YPIPE on the 2k2+ doesn't give the same results as it does on the VQ30DE, so your dyno is very impressive.

Happy modding!

What did you change from the 1st pull compared to the last two pulls. There's some serious changes in power going on.

I didn't even make the pulls they did it for you. To my knowledge nothing changed and I really don't know what happened.

eh... they aren't bad numbers at all IMO.... now if you could find a way to hold that power to redline...

So how did Larry (I think) produce a 17HP (I think, again) increase with the warspeed y and b? Any other differences in your cars' setups? Did you do a before dyno?

i think the 2k2 exhaust system is pretty high flow. the only thing i didnt like was the crush bend on the b pipe and the 180 degree turn in the y pipe.
I put the pipes on as well and must admit, not what i expected.
There was a little gain, but nothing like what larry claimed.

I doubt the hotshot/stillen header system will give us gains claimed.

I like the sound though..

I still say your chart looks pretty good. Notice you're curve doesn't go flat till 5400 RPM. Scott's chart hit the top at 4400 RPM and went flat but your engine is still building power for another 1000. You should have made a pass before you got the Y pipe like I said. Perhaps then you would have more reason to appreaciate those numbers.

My system produced similar effects, but only after I tweaked the Air/Fuel ratio. I had to install a Greddy E-Manage unit to keep from getting 11.5 MPG when racing. Cool thing is that I now get 26+ MPG when cruising on the highway. Bad thing is that the friggin' MPG trip meter is still 4 MPG off. Maybe that will be the next thing I take up with Nissan. I'm making a "b*tch-list" to bring up with NNA about the car. Who knows, maybe we'll see our +15 HP, -4 MPG meter fix, new MAF fixes (finally got a TSB for it), and some other things that drive me nuts.

Anyways, if you have the dyno file (*.00*) from the shop, email it to me. I'd like to compare yours to mine. The Greddy E-Manage helped me gain some top-end HP and torque, and I've only adjusted 5 points on it. I've got the software coming soon to allow me to adjust all 16 points. Maybe I'll see a modded Max hit 30 MPG on the highway. Now, THAT, would kick *ss.
