I seems Llumar has different names for the same metallic tint, or else its the tint shops that give their own names to the different tints. In my case my shop only used Llumar. The dyed tint was called ADR and was the cheapest. The shop also has two types of metallic tints, ADT and Millenium.

ADT comes in 5%, 20% and 35% and is charcol colour

Millenium comes in 18%, 35% and 50% and is fairly reflective when there is light on it, and pitch black at night.

The 35% and 50% give the windows a pearly colour, but you can see straight through the car day and night, except when you are at certain angles then its sort of mirrored. The 18% is awesome, and not to dark looking out of the car at night. I have a digital cam from work and will snap some pics when I get home tonight and post 'em...

I added a couple of photos to my homepage. It shows the Llumar Centaur 28% in both light and the shade.

eh, well $235 seems kinda steep but i guess that's a decent asking price, just make sure that they do a good job because if they do you'll be glad you spent the money

Self, looks good... How good is the tint on the sunroof... Looking at it, it seems like a pain to tint and may not turn out properly...

btw: what size tires are you running??

Re: window tint

I paid 200 out the door for 2 layers of tint. 10% over 10% and a layer of 50% on the windshield. I dont recommend doing it to this extreme if you have glasses or dont see well at night, Its sooooooo dark. Not to mention -->

The tint on the sunroof is flawless. I don't have a picture of it, but it definetly looks much better than untinted. The top of my car looks almost seemless now since the dark tint almost matches my paint. The sunroof tint is darker than the side tint. I beleive it is 18% or so. It has a lifetime warranty if something happens anyway.

Currently running factory tires.

Quantum Film in NYC

Anyone know a reputable dealer/installer of the SolarGuard Quantum Film (http://www.solargard.com/Products/Auto.htm) in the NYC metro area (NJ, Westchester, Long Island)?
