Tint
35% on the doors, 15% on the back glass-max legal tint here in Texas. Paid $190. LLumar film, lifetime warranty. Lifetime film cost maybe $30 more than 5 year warranty film, but well worth it. See my homepage for pics on a white Max.

I had mine done a couple of weeks ago. Got Llumar's 28% Titanium tint with a lifetime warranty for $140 (sides and rear). The titanium is still black but has a "silky" (reflective) look to it. I have like one pic up on the website, although it doesn't do it justice.
On another note, why didn't Nissan tint the moonroof? My 91's was factory tinted, just wondering why the 03 wasn't.

but on a lighter note, I paid $180 in Great Neck, NY for 20% all around Madico Onyx Black Series..Truely black tint (not smoke) and kinda reflective

I paid $60 for 20% all the way around for Formula 1 from my friend who is a window tinter.
I was going to have him tint the sunroof, but he suggested against it. Maybe more of an issue here (TX) than elsewhere, but he says almost any film will bubble within a year because it gets sooo hot there, especially with the shade closed.

i just got my tint like 2 weeks ago and i love it. there are amny different types of tint. some dyed and some metallic. one of the best tint out there is quantom and i very expensive. another thing you want to look out for is when people say lifetime warranty its bs. it only covers certain things lie bubbleing or pealing . but
most warranties do not cover fading. if they say it does, tell them to show u in writting. I got all my windows done even my sunroof for 270 and i know its expensive but its 100% metallic and life time warranty and it coever fading. im plaining to keep this car for a very long time thats y i got the best.

I went to a place here in TX called mother's window tint. They wanted 400 dollars for their top of the line tint.
That only included side and back windows. Eyebrow and sunroof were even more. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

20% all around including 9" sunstrip & moonroof (@ 5%) for $150. I love the moonroof tinted. makes a world of difference. It should have been done @ the factory (but then it would have been called a SUNroof).

Texas Tint
I negotiated tint in with my car purchase. I expected them to pay for the cheapest tint, but was pleasantly surprised. They were going to pay Sunbusters in Austin for their top non-metal tint. I asked them how much to upgrade to the LLumar Centaur 100% metal and to also tint the sunroof. I paid an extra $60 for it. That makes it $210 with the $150 the dealer kicked in.
I got 28% on the sides, and 20% (I think) on the back and sunroof. 35% is the max leagal for Texas on sides, but somehow the Centaur's 28% is equivalent. I think 35% Charcoal (dyed) actually looks a little darker. I would like the 20% all the way around, but the law is the law. I think it looks good. The tint on the sunroof looks really good with my black body color.

Re: window tint
I paid $120 for 20% titanium tint all around. Titanium coated material is supposedly the high end tint material (much less problems with fading) and most expensive. My price was dicounted from the usual price of $170 because my friend owns the shop.

Ok i called the one of the only tint places in my area. They said 230 for all the side windows and the back. They use llumar tint, whick seems popular in this thread. My other question is how do you guys like the llumar and what tint should i get. I kind of want a reflective one.

i think quantom is the best. i have also heard from other that it is the best. also it is the one that is a little but more reflective. but not like the lexus rx300. get quantom it looks the best
