Whats up everyone? Im a proud owner of a 02 maxima!!Its completely stock but i definitely have a need for speed, so i was wondering what the best mods would be for starters regardless of price.. Also, is there any kind of turbo or supercharger available for these cars?

you are not happy with 255 ponies? why need more, you might get an accidents like me! trust me the more power the more problem IMO

do some cosmetic and ride in style instead of flying!...

Seriously, there isn't a whole lot you can do to a 2K2. Underdrive pulley, intake, and full exhaust is about it. Oh, and NAWZ too.

HP changes:
Cold air induction (CAI); high flow exhaust; NOS; Cams; etc.

Suspension changes:
Lowering springs & shocks; larger custom wheels; larger sway bars; tower braces; brakes.

Cosmetic changes: the sky is the limit.

Many of those who post list the mods to their cars. HP mods are not all effective evenly across the power band, some only kick in at high rpms. Getting from 255 to 300 HP will be a fraction of the cost of geting from 300 to 350. If you wanted V8 power you should have bought a V8!

I just got my 2k2 SE 6 spd, used, and have already tinted the windows, added a radar detector, and ordered a custom grill. I'm thinking CAI and suspension changes in the future. To each his own. Good luck, spend wisely, and have fun.

1) RSB - Addco or Cattman
2) FSTB - Anyone that fits (Stillen, Courtesy Nissan, Bomz, etc)
3) Rims/Springs/Shocks - Do research (donate $20 to .org, then use search feature)
4) Stereo - Do research (donate $20 to .org, then use search feature)
5) Intake - PR, JWT, Stillen, Injen (get intake TSB done first)
6) Exhaust - Cat-Back/Muffler (keep stock muffler and sell it to a 4th gen owner)
7) UDP - Anyone you want
8) Light Bulb/Housing Replacements - Fogs, Marker, Sides, Interior
9) Alarm - Stock alarm needs work, aftermarket is better
10) Rewires - Free... rewire fogs, corners, clock, etc

That's almost everything you can do (as of now).

And please donate to the .org. Kev needs more money to finish his car. Once the car is done, the site will be upgraded. He's planning on putting a 255 HP motor with 9 lbs Boost in the CPU socket of the new servers. Who knows what kind of milage it will get?
