Its up to you, but I just bought one for my 03 Today at Courtesy Nissan like 96 bucks. I like the way it looks on lighter color cars myself and has not had any paint issues with them on any of my previous Maximas. Now if you go with the clear bra remember that that is going to cost you 500 dollars or so, but do get something before your front end looks like a battle zone.

I like my rock deflector. It makes it look like the car has eye brows and it's ****ed off.

Yes, it is removable, but not easily. Plus must be careful to not damage the paint if you need to remove. I just can't imagine why you would want to, unless a repaint is needed. Check the link below for info on the product.

I just had the 3M clear guard put on my car and it the best investment I have made. I watched a rock fly up and hit the guard and there is no proof that it hit (which is a good thing in this case). I had it put on by Armatuff check them out www.armatuff.com

go with the magnet bra. under $50 and works well. pain to put on, but worth it. if you put it on correctly no debris will get under it like other bras. except the 3m clear bra.

I just ordered mine yesterday. The only thing that I am worried about is that someone's gonna walk along, like it and take it right off.

does it just stick on or is there some sort of anchoring mechanism?

It tucks under along the sides near the headlights, and there's a strip of plastic around the front that holds it down. It wouldn't be incredibly easy to take it, but like anything else there are always cawksuckers that would rather steal something than get a job and buy it.

I got mine for about $450 and that covered the hood, bumper, headlights, fog lights, fenders, and side mirrors. Comes with a no questions asked warrenty and a warrenty that will pay to have your headlights replaced if they do get broke.

the magnet bra hasn't made it big yet, so people don't know that much about it. yet i say.

***use a hairdryer for your first install and on a sunny day, it will help. and make sure you clean your hood and the underside of the magnet real good. any little piece of fuzz of dirt will leave a bubble in the magnet.
