Clears..again

Any comments on what the majority put in thier clears. Piaa's or red and amber. I heard that some specific red and ambers put out a better color than others. Any suggestions?

Orange and red LEDs put out the most true orange and yellow light. A lot of people use hyperwhite bulbs of some sort. You dont necessarily need to put a bulb in at all. I got tired of standing out at night, so I painted mine black and left all the bulbs out.

Interesting..yeah I noticed autodynamic.com has regular red and amber and then Red and Amber Push-in LED's. I think I might roll the dice and get the push in leds and see what happens.

Thnx for the info-

I used white LEDs

The whole point of me putting on the clears was to get rid of the red and amber! The LEDs are from www.superbrightleds.com and have a slight bluish hue to them. As my g/f put it "they are cool"

i got my leds for them, very good price but some of the leds are more blue than white. In fact one of my sidemarkers are very blue.
