Rear upper strut mount

Does anyone have a picture of this or is in the position where they could take one? I want to see how different the 4th gen mount is to the 5th gen mount and if it looks close enough, then I might try, as NikaL has investigated, the use of the motivational engineering 4th gen mount on the 5th gens. Thanks for the help, Matt.

Come on people. Someone here has got to either have a picture of this mount or has one lying around from a coilover install and has a digital camera. I'm willing to take the risk on this and get the 4th gen ME mount and try to get it to fit on the 5th gen, but I'm not going to do so blind. Everyone who wants modified mounts would benefit from this experiment, so please, if you can, post a picture of this, or diagrams, or something.

I've got no picture but I've seen the two side by side. The distance of the studs on the 5th Gen mount is wider/further apart. So the 4th Gen mount will definitely not fit into the 5th Gen.

They are completely different. I don't have pics, but DaveB sent me diagrams when I was getting my rear upper strut mounts replaced. The two setups aren't even close. Fronts can be modified to fit, but definitely not rears.

Strange, info so far presented has revealed that the gasket is the same part number between the 2, indicating the same stud separation distance. If I could get a hold of DaveB then maybe I could resolve this.

Easiest thing to do is ask a 4th Gen owner to measure his/hers and you measure yours.
