Windsheild Damage! help!!

I was driving on the highway this morning, and a rock hit my front windshield. It caused this crack in the windshield the size of a penny. Anyone got any advice for me on what to do about it?? I want to fix it without paying for it out of my pocket......... thanks guys

hey whats up if you have full coverage on your car you can get a windshield repair and the insurance will wave you decuctable. the only thing with a a repair is it will not go complete a way you will still see that the windshield was hit but it will stop the crack from spreading. i also recommand that the glass shop you go to use agis glass repair it the best on the market, dont go to walmart and buy a kit there they suck.

the bullseye windsheild repair kit works great...you can get it at autozone or pepboys...it uses resin which is than cured by UV rays and it'll stop the spread of the crack...
used it last year and the crack hadn't spread since...

I used Safelite (www.safelite.com). They did a decent job and you insurance should cover the repair, no questions asked.

Keep in mind that the damage will still be visible but it beats having to buy a new windshield.

If you got full coverage, all you need to pay the deductable or do what other guys suggested, but either way, u still gotta pay.

you dont want a claim on your record for something as minor as a rock chip.

i actually got a rock to the face last week and i was thinking about what i could do. i am already on my 2nd windshield so i guess i will just live with it.
