Dash Kit Reviews

I'm looking for a good quality aluminum dash kit, and was hoping that some of you might be able to provide some reviews on the various products that are out there... So, anyone have any good/bad reviews on a particular brand?

Joshua Tree. They have great products and service. You can get in an on-line customer support chat to ask questions. Their site is at woodtrim.com.

I got the molded dash kit from woodview.. Cost a lot though. But then again you pay for what you get. Sites nice and flush. 9-pieces costed me like 300+ I believe..

I looked at them, but they have like 40 pieces--over doing it in my opinion. Joshua tree makes every dash kit to order and professionally sands the edges so they don't look tacky (wood)

Anybody seed the carbon fiber dash kits? They look sweet to me, but I have never seen them in person.

Get a molded kit. I've got a flat Joshua Tree kit on my 4th gen and I'm not totally happy with it. The fit just isn't perfect enough for me. I'll get a molded kit if/when I get a 5th gen but I can't say which dealer has better quality. I'd recommend buying from a reputable dealer and not off ebay. My Joshua Tree kit had a piece that was flawed when I got it--took them months to make a replacement piece but they did it. No complaints on the service there.

I have seen PCGuru's molded dash kit and I highly recommend it. I have also a Joshua Tree's and that one is real nice too. I am thinking of getting the one from Woodview next week, however, Joshua Tree's has a 20% sale. Decision! Decision!

Molded kits contour to all the curves and sits flush..

Flat kits look like you just sticker a sticker on it. You can still see pieces around it that are convered.

That looks good - however, I can't tell whether or not the kit comes up and over the top of the middle vent. Does it or does it cover only the front plane of it?

i wouldn't personally go for Joshua Tree. Some of their pieces dont fit in well with the 5th gen dash and it doesnt look truly genuine. On the other hand, the wood is still convincing

I've got the one from custommaxima. However, after seeing the molded kits, I wish I would have gone with one of those. The flatness just doesn't look as good to me. Pics on page 2 of my homepage. I'm not sure where I saw a nice brushed aluminum molded kit, but I think "Kloogy" has that kit. Not for sure though. Good luck.
