RSB - lift access and Wheel Torque
RSB - lift access and Wheel Torque
Folks -- 2 questions in one post !
Q1 --> I have the Cattman RSB ( yet to install
) and I read some posts on howto install - they all mention that we can't use the rear axle as a jack point after the install -- question - does this in anyway impact the lifts that shops ( and dealers ) use when working on our cars ?
Q2 --> I'm going to have my autoparts store do my tire-rotation --> I plan to tell them to hand-torque the wheel ( I read about warped rotors and such ).
They do honor such requests right ?
Can anyone tell me the torque for stock 01 SE ( 17" ) wheels ?
Thanks

A shop lift uses the frame/unibody for lift points. The only time you would consider using the rear beam is with a floor jack...
