Did my Frankencar, have some questions.

1. I only received 2 rubber couplings. Should'nt I have 3? I used the stock rubber plenum after the throttle body. At least it worked.

2. When all was said and done, teh filter sits up against the battery wire power wire. Very tight. Should I adjust the power wire?

3. The rings that came from the kit, seem to never want to tighten enough. They keep on turnign and turning. Anyoen else find that normal?

Any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

Thanks.

BTW, its loud as MF H.E.L.L

Not the greatest picture, and not for your engine, but you get the idea. Two couplers is all you really need.

Here is what mine looks like on a 2002 MAX.

You should have 3 couplers if you have the Apexi Filter.http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...72_15_full.jpg

He's using a modified midpipe without a breather tube. He's using a crankcase filter instead which you can see in the picture.

Really!! Where do you get the breather? Do you have to use a different midpipe?
