Quick question RE Dashboards

Hey all,

I have a 2k1 GXE, and, while I have tried to pretty up the dashboard cluster with rings, bezel etc, I just have the craving for the white dials, so, I have today, purchased the entire cluster out of a wrecked 20th Anniversary SE.

The question is, will it fit?, I made sure the SE did not have TCS and, assume it will be a straight swap?.

P.S. if anyone else would like to do this swap (if it fits of course), I got the cluster from a search at junkyarddog.com and got it for $150 from a yard in Memphis TN, the guy said he had "a lot of them in stock" both with and without TCS PM me for contact info.

Thanks in advance for answers to my question.

Re: Quick question RE Dashboards

Taking the dash apart and swapping the clusters is pretty straightforward, easy, and direct.

Yeah, I know it is easy to get out, but, will the 20th Anniv SE cluster fit into the GXE?

YES... that is what is meant by a "direct swap".

When you put """ around a word or phrase, it means it's a direct quote. "Direct Swap" is NOT what you said.

Now hurry up and edit your post before anyone else see's it.
