SES light.. Car feels sluggish

Well, i was in one of those moods, where I just wanted to drive fast. I was on the highway and saw this white accord(somewhat tricked out) wiz by me. So I was like, let me try to follow. I dropped to 3rd and gunned it. I caught up pretty quick and then my conscious was kicking in and so i slowed down. The rest of the trip home, i drove aggressivley, reving my engine, shifting in the 5~6k rpms range.

When I was like mile from my house, my ses light came on. I was like crap.. what could be wrong. I know there could be like a million things the computer spits out, but the thing is that the ses light came on twice before and both times they were false and just needed to be reseted.

This time it's a little different. I can feel that car feeling a little sluggish. Im kinda worried since im no longer under warranty.....

best thing to do is go have the code pulled by autozone if you have one around you. there is no charge for it. there are just so many different things it could as you stated. if it revs above 2.5k rpms then you can most likely rule out a bad maf though.
