I need a link for how the 2k2 headlight was taken apart in order to clear out the small amber lense. I've gotten ahold of a useless i30 headlight for my car and and gonna try and do the same amd take out the amber lense. So with this extra headlight im gonna practice first, i just need some instructions for reference. Thanks.

Basically you need to use a heatgun and heat up the edges where the glue is. Dont melt the plastic, but get it nice and hot with the HeatGun. But like I said, be freagin careful not to melt it with the heatgun.

Then once you get it all nice and hot, use a butterknife and start spreading it apart and loosen the area with the tabs.

Oh yea, there are 3 screws that need to be removed, on the back, basically remove the two on the edge near the outside of the light where the amber lense is. And there is one more under the ballast which needs to be removed.

To put it back on, heat the glue up nice and good and then just squeeze the joker back together.
