I think if you want one you should buy one, and if you don't want one you shouldn't.

Are you asking if you should buy zex as opposed to another kit?

if you run it properly...you should be fine. Mine is holding up yet I rarely ever spray. DONT spray between gears. I would go with NX if i were you.

Contact 'jime' Jim for details. He's pretty much your nitrous genious.

Oh and put this in the nitrous forum..You might get more help.

IMO, unless you are strictly track racing your car for big $$$, its not worth the trouble.

you're gonna kill your engine and tranny and if your not making $$$ to rebuild or replace, you're gonna throw more $$ out the door on the kit and then have to spend even more $$$ on fixing or replacing both your engine and tranny.

my $.02

replacing the engine and tranny is a load of BS. THe most controversial thing, and that only applies if your a moron that doesn't know how to run nitrous properly.

conducting some research should be done before proceeding with the nitrous.

I guess what they are trying to say is EDUCATE yourself with some knowledge about spraying your car with Nitrous before you actually go and spend the money.

Whole thing comes down to if you use it properly or not.

Save your money unless you plan on going to the track a lot. Using it on the street isn't practical. Nitrous is cool and all but fillups add up. The bottle drains a lot quicker than you would think and you will need gauges, a heater, etc, etc......

Get the Zex if thats what you want.

The NX thing is nothing more than brand recognition. Zex, NOS, Venom and Nitrousworks all make the same type of wet kits IF thats what you want. But for your first setup I recommend you stay with the Zex or NOS dry kit.

Ya, start with a dry kit if you really want to do it. Wet kits are a wee bit more complex.

Yes, if you're not stupid about it, and have a basic knowledge of forced induction, you can spray for a very long time. I'm going on 3 years with the same, STOCK engine in my car. Of all the nitrous related engine failures I have seen, not one has been because of the nitrous. 99.9% of the time it is some sort of user error, poor wiring, bad gas, too much pressure...etc, etc.... It's just friggin common sense, not rocket science.
