Will an I35 Analog Clock fit in a Max?

Hi all..

Just wondering if the I35 analog clock would fit into a Max? Are the connections the same? Doesn't the clock have to run when the car is turned off?

I dunno.. just thinking of a more picturesque mod ;-)

Let me know if any of you have done it or know how to...

It's appreciated..

Thanks,
Nick

analog clocks are ugly. infiniti should get rid of them. analog belongs on watches and walls... not in your car.

I'd put it where the digital clock is now..

BTW.. just asking if it can be done, not if anyone approves of it actaully being done....

Thanks,
Nick

I have asked the same question. I like the analog and so does she. I would be curious to know but do not know were to begin. Have you contacted any yards or dealers to see how much the clock and mounting assembly would be?

I beg to differ - I think they look pretty classy. Digital's are just easier to read with a quick glance.

Whenever I think of analog clocks in cars I always remember the ones that were in the cars in the 70s and 80s that were part of the guage layouts (particularly GM vehicles). They always were one of the first things to stop working in those cars.

Eh..the clock is classy, but sometimes, especially at night it bugs me...then I start dreaming of ways to retrofit the Maxima digital clock instead!

man, you guys dont wanna do this, its not worth it. went i stopped by infiniti to drive the g35coupes a long time ago, i looked up all the parts and how much they cost. and how everything is layed out. that stupid clock cost around $300 or something REALLY stupid like that.

its not worth looking into UNLESS you go to a junkyard and rip the dash of an i30 apart
