a little off topic
other than my 2000 Maxima, I have a 1988 Sentra, 4 speed Manual, as my everyday/work/beater car, and I know it only has 69 HP, (big change from the Max). does anyone know of any quick mods I can do for that car? I'm thinking about putting on pin stripes, I hear that adds about 6 hp at the wheels(joking)
thanks

Those Geo metro 3 cylinders only had 53 hp. Yikes.
You could always fabricate a cold air intake for it with a K&N cone filter at the end. You'd probably have to replace that 1" exhaust tho...heh.
Whatever you do to it to make it a little faster is probably going to make it louder. The last thing I'd want to do is draw attention to myself if I was in one of those.
My buddy has a '96 Z28 with some mods and a ZRX1100 motorcycle with some mods. Both are meticulously kept up. But his winter beater on the other hand looks like it's been through the war. It's a '92 Tercel (dubbed the Turtle) and both side view mirrors have been whacked off, and the door has an awful dent in it (makes a horrid noise when you open it)- all while he owned it. Drives great and rattles LESS than the Camaro (under 65k miles). The Turtle has about 130k on it.
Less money into your beater mean more money into the toys!!

while the muffler was off I was able to chirp into 2nd gear with those 69 ponies, and into 3rd on wet pavement. I havn't tried lately though, I wanna keep her around for a little while longer.
