3M Clear Bra Question
3M Clear Bra Question
I pick up my new 03 Max(Black) on Monday and was leaning towards getting the 3M Clear product for the hood. I was in the dealership and they had a similar product on a car in the showroom. They had the bra going up about 12 inches from the front of the hood.
Here's my question, what do you guys recommend in terms of the necessary coverage of this 3M product?
Thanks,
KMV

Seriously, 8ml on the whole bumper (as far around on the fenders as possible), headlamps, mirrors and the hood as far up as you can.
Make sure and get the 40ml thick for the headlamps. Be nice if the offered the fenders and foglamps as well.
You shouldn't have to pay more than $450 unless they are covering the Nice to have areas as well.
I only have paint chips where the clear bra ain't!
They do cover the fog lights, too. I've got the headlights and the foglights as well as the hood protection. The fog lights and head lights were part of the same deal. I didn't get the bumper protection because it was too expensive. The guy that did mine also did the edges of the doors free. If you can afford it, the bumper protection would probably be a good idea.
