Jet Chip

Im new to this forum and I am just wondering if the ecu chip made by Jet is worth buying? Thanks ahead of time.

Don't have access to the prior threads that had gone on around here over the months, but the general concensus is it doesn't do squat.

I think all that chip does is change the air/fuel ratio and make it run richer. No power increase at all, actually probably a loss. We all have to wait for the ECU upgrade to come out.

My buddy had one in his SHO and it made the service engine light come on.. After it came on he sent it back and they Detuned so to speak its so there wasnt as much of a dramatic change. After that there was no difference in the performance of the SHO.. They dont seem to be worth it...

which company is it that makes the chip for the VW Golf or Jetta that gives it some really nice gains from what I hear?

Supposedly only big gains on the turbo's. I've seen an (advertised) 20-30 HP just by plugging the fuc***g thing in
