My 2K3 exhaust tips are rusting!! Please Help.

The exhaust tips on my 2K3 are beginning to rust and black out. I try to wipe them off everytime I get gas, but it's not coming off anymore. Any ideas on how to get the rust off so they have a nice shine again?

Are they worth replacing with something better for less than $100??

Any help is appreciated.

Thank You.

do you have the holes at the bottom of the tips? those are supposed to be for water drainage to prevent rusting so I cannot see how yours are rusting?

Well, it might not be rust. Just something that looks like rust. I haven't gotten a really close look yet as it's been too cold to spend much time outside. I live in Chicago, so it could be salt damage???

I've got a 2002 that does the same thing. It happens to all of them. All you need to do is buy a can of "never dull". You can find it at any auto parts store.
