New MAF with ECM Update Question

Does anyone know if the new MAF being used with the drive by wire TSB requires the whole unit to be replaced (sensor plus plastic tube/canistor) or if I can just replace the sensor piece alone?

Just make sure to put your stock intake back on if you have an aftermarket intake.
