Damnit!!! SES Light........

I switched out my dashboard today, and, when driving around the SES light came on, I don't know if the dash has anything to do with it. The car drives fine, not sluggish or anything, so, I am assuming it is not the MAF. Is there anywhere can go to see what code it may be throwing?. I am shortly due for my 60K service, and, I know with my Prelude the light will come on to remind you, is this the case with Nissans too?

Thanks..

nissan's SES is not like Honda's service due light. it's telling you something.

u can get the code pulled at autozone.

I tripped mine by leaving the gas cap loose. When I filled up the tank and closed it tight, it went away the next day.

Go to Autozone, they can scan the code for free. They can even clear it out. If the light comes back on after a couple of days, have it scanned again and troubleshoot based on the error code.

I got it checked out at Autozone, it turned out to be the speed sensor, which seeing that the speedo in the new dash did not work makes sense. I had the reset it, and, no more SES light

Your speedo doesn't work? Did you just reset the light and get on your way?!
