Hey guys got a question. On the stillen website they got headers fro 02 Altima and Maxima. Does anyone know if those would fit on 02 Max. Has anybody bought them from Stillen. Thanks

 

they are making them but its the kind of deal where they say it will be a month. then a month goes by. i cant imagine it being that much longer but hotshot is also supposedly coming out with a header as well, this is also include the y pipe.

 

WHat is hotshot?

 

Another brand that has just made prototype headers for the 3.5 motor be it an altima or maxima. They fit either, some goes with stillen. Shows approx 30hp gain peak from the looks of it.

 

Headers for 2k2 maxima?

 

Just a "Guesstimate" from other thread about Dave dynoing the alti. Ur all over that thread u know which 1 im talkin about. I dont really know if its exactly 30 but I still think its safe to say a good 15whp/15wtq should be gained. If these come out be4 I get my 2K3 6spd ill still buy em and hold on to em til I get the car. I want consistant 13's.

 

How about the price?

 

Well its still gonna be no better then the Stillen price. They I belive quoted it at approx $550. If it does give my atleast 15whp (I think its gonna be more) Why not, after the 2K1 ive got now the bang for buck is better then getting the complete exhaust done including the y-pipe. I personally think its gonna give more then 15whp, Im more interested in the Torque. We shall see, stillen will probably come out with the headers in another 30days Im not worried about the $ sitting there, Ive had over $1500 worth of audio crap sittin around cuz I want 100% sure I was gonna keep this car and componets are pretty much either perminent or a real big pain. I just waited and it will soon be worth it, I could have over $4K worth of mods in the 2K3 be4 I even break the motor in.

 

I don't think these headers will fit a maxima. A maxima owner was supposed to go to hotshot to get the prototype done for our car but no one knows if he ever went.
