I have a '02 SE Max and get a grinding noise after startup when the temps are cold. About 1 second after starting and lasts about a second. Doesn't happen when car is warmed up. Seems like only after car has sat and temps are below freezing. Any ideas?

 

this happens to most maxes? a lot of people have reported it;i know it happens to mine on occasion. i think it is the timing chain, and you probably shouldn't worry about it.
