If I get an SE... hopefully I will I will let ya'll know and the first person who can successfully explain to me how to remove my taillights can have my black ones for all reds...
(note... my extent of auto knowlege is that I can check the oil. yep. Oh and I can add washer fluid and change a tire...)

read..

hahaha maxima zero i'ma beat u to the lights.. ok.. here's what u do.. up pop your trunk..... u looke towards the front of the car. look down.. you see a plastic peice that covers the lockin' mechanism on the car.. pull from the sides.. and it'll pop off. it'll reveal two plastic rivets.. use small phillips screw driver to gently turn them til' the head pops up.. wonce this has happened u can pull the rivets out from the base of it.. the bottom.. u can use a screw driver if it's a lil difficult to pull out.. thre are around 4 more located on the panel on the closest panel torwards you.. there are also the rivets that are also the cargo net mounts. what you do is you use a small flat head screw driver and pop the heads off. pull straight out.. then u look for more rivets and stuff and pull them off. now u can move the panel out of the way.. the center peice comes off. the rest you dont' need to completely remove. just swing it outa the way. you wild find a few bolts that hold the tail light housings in.. use i believe 8mm sockets.. deep sockets would help better to recmove. disconnect all wires. you're done..

hahahah the tail are mine.......... muhahaha.. extra pairs of blacks sounds nice. muhahahahaaha..

Mingo since we are on lights. How do I remove the H4 Plug for the headlights. I happin to look under the hood yesterday when I was washing the car and just looked at it for a minute.. wan't gonna put any lights in, just to see how the thing comes off, didn't twist and didn't pull out. I'm sure the info is in the book but just wondering. any help?

pull

pull on the plug holding the plug part of it. pinch teh two sides of it so u get a good grip.. pull straight out. theres a metal clip that holds the bulb in. push one side of the clip to the right so it unlocks from the housing. then pull the bulb out.. oh yeah b4 al lthat u gotta pull off the weather proofing thing.. that rubber thing.. it pulls right off
