Rev limiter?

Rev limiter?

Anyone know if the 2k3's have rev limiters?

Well if you can't rev the engine past 6,550 (redline), then there must be a rev limiter (I think).

If they have a rev limiter, I think you can get rid of it but getting a APEX-i RSM (it also gets rid of the speed limiter.

i know you can get rid of the top speed limiter but ive never heard that it removes the rev limiter.

There's a rev limiter on the 2k2, 2k3s are the same.

Don't know how to get rid of it tho.....

Yes - I hit mine at about 6,700 rpm
There's a fuel cut right around 6900-7100 RPMs. It varies based upon the transmission and air/fuel ratio. I adjusted my air/fuel ratio (using a Greddy E-Manage) and got the car to 7200 RPMs before the fuel cut. Somewhere here I've got the dyno to prove it too.

You could be right - tach's aren't that accurate, and I was concentrating on shifting vs. noting exact numbers
