Big Problem!!!!!!!!!!

Wuz up everybody. I just got my 2000 Sterling Mist SE automatic Last month at Manheim dealer auto auctions in Lancaster Pennsylvania. Boy can you get some good deals up there. I got my max with 45,810 miles on it just coming of of a lease from some lady who owned it and my friend who is a dealer got it for me for 12,460. It already passed inspection and i had to get the rotors turned. About a month ago i got all of the fluids changed and the oil. Since this past month, i have been "balling" or pushing my max on the weekends. Two days ago the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. Does any one know what the problem could be? Am i driving too fast? Please dont tell me my transmission is messed up. But i do still have the powertrain warranty. SORRY FOR THE LONG POST BUT ANYONE WHO HAS ANY INFO PLEASE WRITE BACK IMMEDIATELY. I AM DEBATING WHETHER I SHOULD LET NISSAN LOOK AT IT OR A MECHANIC
THANKS!!!!

probably the O2 sensor. Get the code pulled for free at autozone..

Most 2k autos need new soleniods/transmission control module. Most dealers will fix this under the 60K powertrain warranty.

a little OT, but I'm guessing in different parts of the country, slang is different because from what I know, "ballin" means spending crazy amounts of cash like its nothing, basically throwing money around for no real reason but to show off...

in my neck of the woods it's something that's done in the back seat, if you know what I mean

it's only got 45k miles, bring it back to nissan.

Re: Big Problem!!!!!!!!!!

My car had the same problem and it went away after a while - I thought that this is usually caused by a loose gas cap. Now I read that this can be caused by excessive condensation in the exhaust - which my car does seem to exhibit. Any ideas on that?

Anyways, now for a double-whammy the TCS OFF and SLIP lights just came on in conjunction with the MIL when I went out for a drive at lunch today. My car is still covered under the powertrain warranty - is there any way I can convince a dealer that this should be fixed courtesy of Nissan?
