How to find ECU number

Anyone know how I can find out what my ECU number is before I go into the dealer? Thanks.

I took out my ECU to see if there was a part number on it. No number on it. The TSB is right, you have to use Consult to get the number.

I've asked this before, but never really got an answer. Is it possible that you could get the ECM number through the OBD-2 interface?

The OBD-2 interface will not tell you the ECU number. I didn't see anything in the ESM about a number, either.

No. It is Nissan's way of keeping this sort of info secret. The OBD-2 can only read trouble codes when the check engine light is illuminated.
