Anyone know the story on sticker EPA estimates. The 2001 is rated at 2 less highway and 1 less city than the 2000 model.
Same car and engine, right? Also, what is realistic mileage?

I get 22-24 city, and 28 highway.

no clue why the 2001 is rated lower.

Are we refering to auto or manual...

because I've heard speculation that the drop in auto mpg was due to the TCM update.

My mileage do go down after the TCM update. and I think my car got slower on the track too. From mid 15's up to high 15's. (Partly due to removal of cone intake)

Best I've gotten is 23mpg highway. Car has 2,800 miles on it. Hoping things improve when weather gets warmer, no longer have to use New Jersey "winter" (oxygenated) gasoline, and car breaks-in further.

best I've ever done was San Diego to Vegas and back (half way back) 398 miles on a tank
