Remeber that tl i needed help with...
well today i finally raced him and i know im not supposed to post this but ones guys comment of the headers i think did it. he ripped the **** out my car by like 4 to 5 car lenghts from a 30 mile and hour role.. and i guess that vtec controller did wonders for him too since he set vtec to kick in at 3500 rpm. basically he raped me... being as ****ed as i was i order my y-pipe today and hopefully with that i can keep up.. and if not they i get the controller for our car if i knew wat it did..

I've driven the TL-P many times and it's no slug stock. A top notch I/H/E setup gets the TL-P remarkably close to the TL-S in straight line acceleration.
Peace.

If your an auto (not sure) then I can understand why you got ur @ss handed to you that badly. Btw how long do you think his engine is gonna last if he has the VTEC set to kick in at 3500rpms? He is either runnin a higher volume oil pump or will have some problems in the near future. What rpms does their VTEC kick in when stock anyway 4500rpm? 5000?

If the new point is at 3500, its getting insuficient oil flow from 3500-5500 which is gonna cause a problem in the future unless he gets a higher volume oilpump. Unless they have a stock OEM pump thats all roided out then who cares, you might want to mention that to him if he is a friend, if he isnt then who cares. BTW im basing this on what ive seen happen to the b16-b18 blocks who lowered their vtec acivation point to 4000 w/o upgrading the pump. I dont know how many psi his pump is capable up dishing out.

The original vtec point is 4400 RPMs so little damage will be done in the long run if he sets it to 3500.
