H&R and Tokico Question

Just curious if anyone can tell me how many miles it takes for the the Tokico blues to "break in"?

One .org member recently stated this in another thread: "Wait until they break in.. Tokico's feel like your riding on rails at first. But once they break in they suck.. You'll be bouncing on the road with a floaty feeling."

Thanks!

Mine felt really loose and and floaty for the first two days, then they got real stiff for the next 2-4 days, and after that they were perfect, not too harsh and definetly not loose and floaty. Since then I've put 2500 miles on them and the ride has remained consistent.

Does anyone have 10K or more on their Tokicos with H&R who can tell me how they are riding? Thanks!

I do. It's a nice ride, I'd say a little on the firm side, but great for taking corners.

Thanks for the response. I just want to clarify your comments, with more than 10K on the struts, you don't experience a "floaty" or "loose" feeling when on the highway or smooth roads?

Thanks!

I would agree with 2k2nyc, that they felt soft for two or three days and felt very stable after that. I am very pleased with the ride.(no float!)

not at all, if the road is smooth then the ride is perfect--small bumps really seem a lot harder, but that's the price you pay for great cornering
