Bent strut
Bent strut
Hey guys, I was drivin last nite and slid on some water as I was turning and my right front tire hit the curb. My alignment got completely thrown off so I had that fixed. The guy said that I also bent my right front strut and that it will need to be replaced. He said its not something that needs to be done immediately and it isn't that big of a deal, just that my car pulls a little to the right. Do you guys have any thoughts on this? Is what he saying true? is replacing the strut expensive? Thanks for yalls help.
i have a 2k2 btw.

You want our thoughts, hmmm how about you just get a new suspension while you at it. If you want Tokicos it will cost you about 330-350 for all 4 + shipping. Kybs will be like 100more but are adjustable. Springs run you up anywere from 100-180 depending on brand. So your looking at a good 500+ minimum if you want to do all 4. Plus the labor of what shop you take it to, atleast another 150+ or so. If you have some cash layin around get the complete JIC setup which will run you up to $2000 topps with the install.

Man, i ain't got that much money around. The mechanic said it'd be ok to just replace the one bent one but he recommends replacing both. Will there be a big difference in replacing the front struts with aftermarket ones? i don't really wanna spend that much. Is it ok to be driving with the bent strut?
