Just wanted to know what my recourse is. I'm at 35,500 and went to the dealer about the lack of power TSB and got the runaround. They said that the check engine light needed to be on in order to fix the TSB issue. I'm wondering if I'm getting the runaround so that I'll have to pay for this fix after the 36,000 mark. What do I have to do to get this done in time? Thanks all your help is greatly appreciated.

 

that is what they said to me. but i have an 03. i dont even know if i have lag problem? because its so new. but yea they told me that the engine has to throw a code? what a bounch of bs

 

Yeah I'm kinda in the same boat. I have an 03, only 350 miles on it so far. I haven't even accelerated hard enough yet to tell if I have a lag problem. And even if I did, how would I know. It seems that reading all this stuff about lag problems might be making people think they have a problem when they really don't. My car has to go in soon for the leather installation anyway, so I plan to ask them about the TSB then. We'll see if I get the runaround.

 

I don't get it either....I have an 03 with 700 miles on it, 3 weeks old...I installed the Stillen intake and I have no idea if I have a lag...I know my hood rattles...I know the Bose sux....I just don't get this whole lag thing....my car pulls hard when I pound it, she goes pretty fast (I've gotten her up close to 100) but it just doesn't feel 100%....
