Light Weight Rims

Hey all, I'm thinking about blowing my tuition reimbursment on some new wheels for the summer. I don't like chrome, so I was thinking about something light, like 18 inch Superleggeras. Will changing wheels like this actually improve acceleration, or will the difference be negligable?

With OZ wheels, YES it will improve acceleration, because you'll be dropping like 40 lbs!!

If you go wider, it will hurt steering (not much tho)..
