Junkyard - What should I rip?

There is a 2002 max in a junkyard and was wondering what parts i should rip off it? I have a 2000 and might be getting an HID (one of them is already destroyed) the side skirts, and hopefully the 3.5 engine (heheheh). Any other suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Grab their fog's... and maybe the MAF, I'm not sure if it's the same in a 2000, but it'll save you money if you blow one... grab the shift consol... floormats if they are the same color... you name it, it'll all help to have a spair in the long run... maybe a rim or two if they are the same as yours, or as winter rims... anything is possible if you think about it. Grill won't fit though, unless you grab the bumper too.

Yes, I want the fuel line assembly that connects the feed line to the fuel rail. Most times they've been destroyed.

I'd take the upper and lower intake manifolds. If you are being nice you should send them to me!

I could use the rearview mirror if it is the compass type... and I'd like the steering wheel if it is intact and the tan interior.

Does it have a 6-CD changer in it?

If charcoal, I would be interested in (of all things!!) the sunglass holder assembly, and if in very good condition, the shifter surround (manual tranny).

It's a 2k2. Odds are verrrryyy slim. Someone would have to have swapped them out before.

I wish I could find a wrecked 2k2 in North Jersey, is there a central directory for cars in junkyards so I could find one in a junkyard around me?

Yep, that's me.

I think everyone is right in saying that you should just buy the entire car and part-it-out...of course that's assuming the price is right and you have storage room.

Unbolt the Muffler

The 2K2 stock muffler is selling for approx $100-120 here on the org. Just remove two bolts (use break free or penetrating fluid) and remove muffler from the rubber hangers. I get a %5.00 commision .
