What a difference!! I installed a dry kit today on my 03 max se (auto), and i gotta say the power is unbelievable. I ran my friends S2000 and my other friends 2000 stang GT and they were no match for my max. Im gonna try to take my car to the track today to see what 1/4 times i get. Im also gonna run an evolution 8 tonight which belongs to my cousins friend, I will update you guys and let you know what happens.

When it comes to that car , the same rules as the Civics apply, " Even if you win, you still roll like an A$$$ !.."... Your whip still looks weak !

I would have gone with a wet kit. Aren't those suppose to be safer these days for the engine and provide just as much power.

This is all speculation. The original poster still has not replied and said what kit he has.

Let's not start another Wet vs. Dry war.
They both have pros and cons.

I don't mean to start a war. I'm just new to this NOS stuff and don't really know much. I was just reading an advertisement for the ZEX wet kit.

no one answered my question. Do you need to upgrade the injectors and/or fuel pump for a 100 shot?

you'll need a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator.

I belive the injectors are fine, but not positive. Ask SR20DEN =]\

On this car there is extra crap that has to be done for a dry setup. Adding a booster pump and external regulator is involved but not injectors unless you've got a way to control them.

Race from a stop? Sure you can. Just do what I do in Project Gotham Racing. Launch my car and immediately turn sharply into them and spin them out. By the time they get turned back around it's too late.

Yeah it's difficult to out launch the Evo in that game unless you have the Skyline. Cheating works fine.

Im back

Alright guys, im back finally. been a long weekend. OK i have good news and i have bad news. Oh by the way, people were asking what kind of hit im using, Im using a custom dry kit from zex.

Lets start with the bad news.
1. had to lower down to 75 shot because my car was going all over the place (wouldnt grip for anything)

2. Couldnt head out to moroso because its been raining every single day down here in miami. But i will try to go this weekend

And now for the good news.

1. I smoked the lancer big time (wasnt even a race)

2. Asked an owner of an s2000 to race but he refused.

2. I also raced a 350z that had a 50 shot and I only beat him by like 2 cars. (now this guy was ****ed)

3. Overall i gotta say, this engine holds nitrous like a beast. A 50 shot would only tickle this engine, thats why i went higher.

Im gonna try to post some pics tommorow of the nitrous kit.

My car is bone stock, all i have added was a factory replacement k@n filter.

I dont think there are any "street" tires that are short of DOT legal slick are gonna be able to harness the torque of nitrous.
Do the ghetto airbox mod if you dont want to get an intake, basically just cut the front part of the airfliter holder. Even w/o the track seems like impressive results if you dusted the 350z.

Post back whenver you get some times in.
