Any service problems with 2003 Maxima SE?

I am interested in getting a 2003 Maxima SE automatic. I was just wondering if you guys had any problems with your vehicles? How does the Maxima compare to the Acura TL-S and Infinit G35? I know these vehicles are way more expensive than the Maxima but...I just want to see what you guys think. I don't want to spend more than 29K. Any other recommendations? Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forum. You should be able to get an auto Maxima for alot less than $29k with everything, including GPS navigation built in. Check out carsdirect.com to get an idea on pricing. I have a base 2003 SE auto and love it so far. I have 6500 miles and no issues yet.

8,800 miles, zero service issues for me. I had the body shop adjust my trunk lid, 'cause the gap was larger on one side - that's about it.

Titanium Edition SE w/ everything except nav or heated seats. About 2500. A minor issue that has not been fixed yet is the hood vibrates visibly on the drivers side (drives me nuts, but I always forget because it's the wifes car and I don't drive it much). We'll take it to the dealer to get it fixed one of thes days....

Oh yeah, the Infinity seems to be a little more plush... The Acura seemed to be a very nice car, but my wife was not crazy about it... She prefered the Maxima over all the others.
