Hey everyone I went rice boy hunting tonight and I got some good kills. No losses either.

1. early 90's Talon TSi. Not even close.

2. Turbocharged Civic Del Sol VTEC....this guy wasn't very good at launching this thing....surprising since I have twice as much torque as he does...Had 3 races with him and I beat him every time...he was keeping up fairly well though. His 2 foot high spoiler was probably slowing him down.

3. Honda Prelude VTEC(95-96) This one surprised me...he had a real dual exhaust on it and it looked pretty mean...but staying true to his rice boy heratige...it was all show no go. I killed it.

4. Integra GSR heavily modded....this one was a rolling start from about 40....put it in 2nd gear and waited for him to punch it. I hit it instataneously and pulled on him a little bit....we had to shut it down pretty quickly but it was another notch for the maxima.

I came across a whole pack of rice boys...it was like Uncle ben's out there. All heavily modded accords and civics...even one of those rare Civic SiR's. LOL. None of them would step up. They were all afraid!!!!!! I RULE!!!

!! SiR Question !!

Do SiR's Exist in the States???? How many horses are they running??

Cuz in CANADA, Our "SI"(your Top model, with 160 horses) only has 127hp ...Our "SiR" is the US Equivilent of the "SI"

Just curious!

Actually, the Canadian SiR should be the B16A DOHC Vtec with 160hp. The USDM CRXs are:
HF (D15B)- SOHC 1.5L with like 90hp - MPFI
DX (D15B) - SOHC 1.5L with like 90hp - Dual Point
Si (D16A) - SOHC 1.6L with 106hp - MPFI

JDM is said to be like this:
HF (D15B) - SOHC 1.5L with like 90hp
DX (SOHC ZC) - SOHC 1.6L with 120hp
Si (DOHC ZC) - DOHC 1.6L with 135hp
SiR ::Later years:: (B16A) - DOHC 1.6L Vtec with 160hp

The JDM specs should be the same for Canadian...

This is my understanding, might be slightly off.

Related Maxima stuff:

I was messing around with a newer (99-00) yellow Saturn SC. Some raver kid was driving it (had glow stick in his mouth). It was an automatic. I was mean. I would stick to his side in first, then floor it in second get a car length, REV on him while he was still trying to catch up to let him know i'm not really pushing it, let him catch up, then push it again and pass him. This went on for about 5miles. I feel bad... AND I GOT MY REAR CLEAR MARKER LENS!</b>

SiR

Hey guys...sorry about the confusion...it was one of the rice boy SiR's. You know the ones where the badge adds 10 HP?? Not a real SiR.

Believe me, your day is coming. There really are some fast well driven NA Hondas out there. Example: My buddy had a 89 hatchback with a B16 swap, intake, full exhaust, LSD, etc. He ran 15.5s@92mph with him driving. WIth me driving I was nailing 14.9s@94mph which is more than enough to hang with modded 4th and 5th gen Maixmas.

That guy with a turbo B16 Del Sol should be well into the low 14s even with a mild 6 psi boost. Sounds like he couldn't drive worth a crap. BTW, those cars really don't start flying until 3rd gear. MadMax said he raced a turbo Si that was close till 3rd and the next thing he knew, the Si was long gone. I got destroyed by a turbo GSR a few weeks ago.

Good Kills, but your day is coming.

Heck, there are all motor Hondas in the Tampa area running low to mid 12's. Granted, they are gutted POS's, but they still run those times.

hehehehehe...long gone was an understatement! I must have said that in case Mad Max was listening! The reality was about a 3 car lead opened up in what seemed like about 2 seconds The bummer was that that was my first race after adding the CAI and Y-pipe!

4SFED will come to the rescue for those Turbo Honda guys!

It would be nice if stillen made these. Imagine, a MaximaR. It would be so well made that we would get 11hp, not 10, out of em. Letz see them (ricemobiles) beat that!!!

my day has come

I had my day already...I can't say it was to a 89 honda hatchback...but it was about a 96 talon tsi. HUGE turbo on this MF. Not really a rice boy though...all he ahd that was nasty on this car was a huge talon logo on the back windshield. he threw down on me pretty good.. later I heard he runs low 13's at the track here, which is 5000 ft. above sea level. Yikes. My only other loss ever was to a new vette. (yes i know i didn't have a prayer) I just like to see what he could do. I race everybody with the ***** to step up.

DeaZal...did you mean GSR??

the Integra GSR won't even be close to a 5 spd. maxima. most of them won't even try to race me.

Yeah... I raced an AWD Talon at the track around here that runs low 12's. Talk about getting wasted! I treed him (somehow) but then it looked like someone lit a fuse at about the 330 ft mark! He flat out left ole Mad Max in the gutter.

I used to spank turbo civics, eclipes, accords, and many others but that was in my old SHO. I am left with racing GEO Metros in my Auto GLE, Boy my next Maxima is going to be a 5-speed. Or maybe Nissan will make a 5-speed auto with the 3.5? That would be fun.
