Wow, I really don't like those. The red piece looks cheesy. I'll just stick to, if I ever do. Just painting my orange piece red with vans translucent paint. Later

Zoggfatha I will do that this weekend, I will paint the chrome interior black and leave the outer lens clear and post pics. I don't like the smoke lens either, its really dark and its only 1 coat. Playero I think yours would look real nice if you painted the interior body color like maximazero's earlier pics. When will I be able to post pics myself?

YEah i think that will look the best. Leave the chrome ring around the circles as is and just paint the grey/gray part black. Shweeeet.

I will eventually but I don't have a digital camera, I'm using my jobs' camera for these pics. Spending money on mods. I think that will look real nice Zoggfatha, especially with the Hid's the sameway. I only plan to open my Hid's once to paint those black, clear the orange lens, and hopefully we will get the Angeleyes(umnitza)

Even with a red bulb or LED, I beleive those are illegal and will make you a target for ticketing. Here's some regs I found I think most states have this written into their motor vehicle codes:

"Every motor vehicle shall carry on the rear, either as part of the tail lamps or separately, two or more red reflectors.
Rear reflectors on a vehicle shall reflect a red color. Red reflectors required on the rear of a vehicle may be incorporated with the tail lamp assembly. Every reflector upon any vehicle shall be of such size and characteristics and so mounted as to be visible at night from all distances within 600 feet to 100 feet from such vehicle when directly in front of the lawful lower beams of head lamps."

That's probably why the clear lense thing is going away, it's a violation of code.

Once I get some lenses that are OEM fit, I may consider doing this for some of you.

I want to do this to my 2k2 taillights when I get them.

The reverse light on the tail will become the blinker and then reverse light will be new lamps placed in the rear bumber like on the 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

And does anyone have a good shot like the one above of the driver side tail that they could let me borrow??? Thanks

How hard is it to paint the taillights red like that?
What paint should be used?

Caution... white light to the rear (or modded clear turn signal) is a red flag to law enforcement for tickets.

Besides... reverse lights in the BUMPER of a Max?

RICE ALERT!

stop it with the rice stuff.

if someone likes it, then get it. it really depends on what the owner likes. So what if it's "rice"? If I like it, I AM going to get it.
